A new book from the Journal Sentinel and Press-Gazette captures Aaron Rodgers’ illustrious Green Bay Packers tenure

Even after a catastrophic injury in Week 1 of his New York Jets debut, the final chapters of the Aaron Rodgers story haven't yet been written. But one thing will remain true: Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers franchise will forever be inextricably linked.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Green Bay Press-Gazette have tracked Rodgers' unbelievable journey, from his fateful draft day to his Super Bowl triumph to his four MVP awards, and now you can delve through that history with the book "12: A Tribute to Aaron Rodgers’ Legendary Green Bay Career."

The 176-page offering features a litany of news stories from those publications, spanning the day he was drafted to the day he was traded.

Those passages include his many firsts and the highlights of his Hall of Fame career. They trace his evolving, sometimes complicated relationship with the franchise, leading into the trade to the Jets, and meditate on his legacy and impact in Packers lore, both on the field and off.

The book includes a foreword by Packers reporter Tom Silverstein and a game-by-game look at Rodgers' statistics.

"There are so many ways to measure the influence Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had on the one organization for which he played and city for which he called home for the first 18 years of his legendary career," Silverstein wrote. "There are all those passing records. There are the eight division championships he engineered. There are the four NFC championship games he reached and the Super Bowl trophy he helped bring back to 1265 Lombardi Avenue.

"But Rodgers' legacy as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history will always be that he souped up the franchise that Curly Lambeau built, Vince Lombardi turned to gold and Brett Favre restored during its storied 104-year existence."

This limited-edition first edition ($44.95) will sell out soon according to the publisher. You can order your copy direct from the publisher, here.
