Floyd Mayweather posts Instagram sponge bath video

According to Forbes, Floyd Mayweather has been the highest-paid athlete in the world two of the last three years. As such, Money likes to flaunt his wealth on social media (the boxing superstar is notorious for bragging about his winning sports wagers). The 37-year-old has been especially boastful on Instagram, where he can offer up videos in 15-second increments of just how fabulous his life is. But one clip Mayweather posted Thursday may take the cake for excess.

In it, the reigning WBC welterweight champion is given a sponge bath by a female assistant while brushing his teeth. Part of the caption reads, "This is how I start my day, everyday" (followed by a hilarious-yet-not-suitable-for-print-in-this-space nickname for himself that can be seen here). The song that plays over the video is Guy's "I Like", which was released in 1989 and was also on the soundtrack for the 2000 film "Love & Basketball." The fighter's luxurious bath is reminiscent of Prince Akeem's, the fictitous character portrayed by Eddie Murphy, in the opening sequence of 1988's "Coming to America."
