World soccer's top club competition resumes with two first-leg quarterfinal showdowns on Tuesday: Atletico Madrid vs. Real Madrid at the Vicente Calderon and Juventus vs. Monaco in Turin.

Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid in extra time in last year's Champions League final, but it has been all Atleti since then when the rivals collide. Diego Simeone's side has gone unbeaten against Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. this season, winning four of six meetings including an emphatic 4-0 win in February.

Don't expect the action between Juventus and Monaco to be as entertaining. Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri admitted that Tuesday's game could end up being "boring" with the Serie A leaders focused on not conceding away goals to Monaco, which scored three of them at Arsenal in the round of 16 to advance.
