Jimmy Fallon mocks NHL players in Stanley Cup superlatives (Video)

The Stanley Cup Playoffs have many traditions.

Some are old, like postseason beards. Some are new, like Jimmy Fallon mercilessly mocking players’ faces on The Tonight Show.

Yes, it’s time for another edition of Tonight Show Superlatives, in which Fallon hands out high-school yearbook awards to NHL players based on their headshots.

Among the victims in this edition: Victor Hedman of the Tampa Bay Lightning; Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals; Carter Hutton of the Nashville Predators; Alex Goligoski; and Joe Thornton of the San Jose Sharks.

Although we’re guessing that Fallon’s writers didn’t know the depths of Joe Thornton’s puppet mastery.

Slappy, coming to a library near you!
