Blackhawks stay alive with a 46-save night by Corey Crawford to beat the Golden Knights 3-1 in Game 4

Drake Caggiula and Matthew Highmore each scored goals for the Chicago Blackhawks, who staved off playoff elimination Sunday with a 3-1 win over the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

Alex DeBrincat salted it away with his first playoff goal on an empty-netter with 10.8 seconds left.

The Hawks took a lead for the first time in the series on Caggiula’s wrister about four minutes into the first period. It was the first time the Hawks scored first since the third game against the Edmonton Oilers in the qualifiers.

Highmore banked the Hawks’ second goal off Robin Lehner’s mask, but Shea Theodore answered 18 seconds later with a blast from the right point off Alec Martinez’s pass.
