Bills’ Nick McCloud goes full hockey guy, gets stiches & returns
Buffalo Bills or Buffalo Sabres? Nick McCloud evidently has the makings for both professional sports teams in western New York.
In all seriousness, McCloud suffered an injury against the Broncos during the Bills’ second preseason contest of the summer. He is OK and returned to the game.
McCloud had an injury you don’t often see in football: A laceration to his face. But as mentioned, he got back out there.
McCloud, in a very hockey fashion, got stitches and was back out there. The cut occurred when McCloud was covering a kickoff on special teams.
He still has an uphill battle to make the final 53-man roster in Buffalo’s secondary, but McCloud’s teammates will appreciate his efforts in getting back out there, puck style.
McCloud received 6 stitches on his face and has returned to the game.
