Bill Belichick mum on Patriots-DeAndre Hopkins speculation

The DeAndre Hopkins rumors are running wild, and the New England Patriots are at the center of it. However, coach Bill Belichick met with the media on Wednesday and did not have much to say on the matter.

Rumors centered around Hopkins have been swirling all offseason. Notable news came out on Tuesday, when it was announced Hopkins hired Kelton Crenshaw of Klutch Sports. Crenshaw works with NFC East clients, which could be notable in regards to a potential destination.

Hopkins recorded 64 catches for 717 yards and three touchdowns last season. Even after missing the first six games due to a suspension, Hopkins still managed to produce on a Cardinals team that finished 5-11 last season.

Hopkins would give the Patriots a top receiving weapon, as New England looks to get back into the AFC playoff race. Adding an elite offensive playmaker would sure make the process of competing in a jam-packed conference much more realistic.
