Big Shot Bobby: Vote for the High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week

The holiday season has delayed us a little bit this winter, but our high school player of the week polls are returning.

We tipped things off with girls basketball earlier today and now we move on to boys hoops. Here's our schedule this winter:

Monday - girls basketball

Tuesday - boys basketball

Wednesday - girls hockey

Thursday - boys hockey

For our first batch of polls, we'll all performances from the first few weeks of the season are eligible.

And this week's candidates are...

Mike Scully, Sr., Marshfield: Scully scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 61-38 win over Hingham to open the season.

Armani Perkins, Sr., Holbrook: Perkins scored his 1,000th-career point in a win over Excel Academy. Perkins scored all 22 of his points in the first half.

Tyler Staiti, Soph., Abington: Staiti scored 34 points in a win over Hull.

Tristan Rodriguez, Sr., Archbishop Williams: Rodriguez scored 24 points in a win over Bishop Fenwick and had 33 in a win over Cathedral.

Edric Louissaint + Will Savage, Weymouth: Louissaint scored 28 points in a win over Walpole. Savage tallied a career-high 27 points in a win over Braintree.

Kobe Nguyen + Hunter Wood, North Quincy: Both Raiders starred in a win over Duxbury. Nguyen finished with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Wood scored 20 points to go with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.

Roman Glowac, Jr., Scituate: Glowac scored 23 points in a 60-59 win over Southeastern.

Aidan Flaherty, Sr., East Bridgewater: Flaherty had a double-double (20 points, 16 rebounds) in a 63-63 win over Carver.

Jordan Medeiros, Avon: Medeiros scored 24 points and had 7 assists in a 71-57 win over Hull.

Bobby Louis, Soph., Bridgewater-Raynham: Louis (13 points) hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Trojans to a 75-72 double-overtime win over Whitman-Hanson.

Anthony Alessi, Soph., Stoughton: Alessi scored a career-high 30 points in a 63-58 loss to Attleboro.

Danny Adams, Sr., Quincy: Adams (37 points) drilled a buzzer-buzzer to lift the Presidents to a 57-56 win over Hanover.
