Big Bend Preps Honor Roll: These are your top performers from the last week of action

It's that time of the week again as it is time for another edition of the Big Bend Preps honor roll!

Last week was one of the busiest in the fall preps season so far, with multiple major events taking place across the Big Bend. Area athletes competed on the volleyball court, gridiron, golf course and ran the hills of Apalachee Regional Park as competition heats up with the postseason nearing for area programs.

After another week of action in the Big Bend, let's take a look at this week's Big Bend Preps honor roll!

This list is compiled with stats available either through MaxPreps or sent to lrooney@gannett.com. Coaches and athletic directors, please send stats for both the honor roll and athlete of the week nominations to the above email by Sunday every week to ensure your players have the opportunity to make the list. 

Football

Jeremiah Thomas, Jr., Wakulla: six carries, 255 rushing yards, one touchdown, three catches, 59 yards receiving yards, one touchdown, eight tackles.

Ryshard Miller, So., Madison County: four carries, 75 rushing yards, two touchdowns

Jaeyon Wimes, So., Munroe: 17/20 passing, 397 passing yards, six touchdowns, one carry, 13 rushing yards

Golf

Drew Jones, Sr., Florida High: One tournament victory, low round of 32

Alex Parker, So., Chiles: One tied second-place finish, low round of 36

Girls:

McKenzie Anderson, Jr., Wakulla: Second place finish, low round of 52
