Best Burger: 2024 Orlando Sentinel Foodie Awards

If you were paying any attention at all to Orlando’s foodie scene last year, you know I’m referencing the handcrafted $15 hot dog that enjoyed more than 15 minutes of fame in 2023, and even spawned its own T-shirt in the pro shop.

But there is lush and lipid-laden life beyond The Notorious D.O.G. for executive chef Jason Campbell and his team. Case in point: The glorious O.K.C.

The O.K.C. Smashburger pays homage to the Orlando native chef’s time out west, a simple but stellar two-patty stack with onions. mayo, melt-perfect American cheese and zingy house-made pickles that hits just right.
