Bengals make roster moves before start of training camp

The Cincinnati Bengals continue to make roster moves ahead of training camp opening this week.

Next up is the re-signing of tight end Mitchell Wilcox and subsequently placing him on the physically unable-to-perform list (PUP).

It is an expected move for the Bengals, as Wilcox has been a key part of the depth chart over the last few years. He bolsters depth again in 2023, this time behind Irv Smith Jr. and Drew Sample.

This move follows Joe Burrow reporting to camp amid contract speculation and the team putting key starters La’el Collins and Chidobe Awuzie on that same PUP list.
