Bemidji takes 1st in high kick, 2nd in jazz at Detroit Lakes invite
Jan. 11—DETROIT LAKES — The Bemidji High School dance team is returning back home from Detroit Lakes with some serious hardware.
The Blue Angels won the high kick competition and placed second in the jazz competition at a four-team meet in Detroit Lakes. DL, Moorhead and Alexandria rounded out the top four in high kick, with Bemidji winning first by virtue of a tiebreaker with the Lakers.
DL also topped the field in the jazz competition. Alexandria and Moorhead took third and fourth, respectively.
