Bemidji State finishes 12th at Mustang Invite

Oct. 1—MARSHALL — The Bemidji State women's golf team completed its last scheduled event of 2023.

The Beavers took 12th place at the EverSpring Inn and Suites Mustang Invite on Sunday, finishing the two-day tournament with a team score of 705. Augustana took first place with a total of 589, winning the event by 40 strokes at the Marshall Golf Club.

Mollie Albrecht paced BSU with rounds of 80 and 83, which was good enough for 32nd place in the individual field. Elli Anderson tied for 64th with a two-day total of 178. Haylee Kamann (182, 67th), Savannah Byfuglien (185, T69th) and Izzy Depew (191, 74th) also factored into Bemidji State's team score. Nakomis Mitchell competed as an individual, carding scores of 104 and 90.

The Beavers will resume their 2023-24 season in the spring.
