Belichick sheds no light on Tebow's roster outlook
New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick shed no light on the roster outlook of quarterback Tim Tebow, the oft-scrutinized former Heisman Trophy winner.
Tebow didn't have a sterling debut for the Patriots against the Philadelphia Eagles, completing only 4 of 12 passes for 55 yards.
Is Tebow going to make the team?
"That's not anything that we're ready to talk about right now," Belichick told reporters today. "There's a lot of competition out there. We'll see how it all plays out."
Belichick discussed the challenges of defending a running quarterback like Tebow.
"We knew we were going to have to face it; we faced it last week," Belichick said. "We had seen it in practice some before. We know we're going to see it."
