Bears sign six undrafted rookies following minicamp

The Chicago Bears conducted their rookie minicamp last weekend, where their 11 draft picks, 16 undrafted rookies and a group of tryout players met gathered at Halas Hall.

There were several roster moves made at the conclusion of rookie minicamp, where included six undrafted rookie signings and the subsequent release of previously-signed players.

The Bears announced the signings of six tryout players in Ball State linebacker Christian Albright, Charlotte safety Jon Alexander, TCU long snapper Antonio Ortiz, Northern Arizona defensive end Carson Taylor, Western Michigan safety A.J. Thomas and Ohio running back De’Montre Tuggle.

Chicago also parted ways with undrafted rookies Purdue linebacker Jaylan Alexander, Miami safety Amari Carter, Southern Illinois wide receiver Landon Lenoir, Utah State wide receiver Savon Scarver and Ohio State running back Master Teague, as well as defensive end Ledarius Mack, former Bear Khalil Mack’s younger brother.
