Bears agree to terms with RB D’Andre Swift on 3-year deal
The Chicago Bears have made their first big splash of free agency agreeing to terms with former Philadelphia Eagles running back D’Andre Swift, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
It’s a three-year deal worth $24 million for Swift, who joins a Bears backfield featuring Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson. Swift will serve as the new starting running back in Chicago.
Swift is coming off a career year with the Eagles, where he rushed for 1,049 yards with 4.6 yards per carry and five touchdowns. He also provided a threat as a pass catcher, hauling in 39 catches for 214 yards and a score. Swift earned his first career Pro Bowl nod in 2023.
