The W.F. West boys basketball team couldn't get on much of a run until it was too late in Clallam County on Tuesday, losing 63-51 at Port Angeles.

It's the Bearcats' third loss in three non-league games, compared to a 3-0 record in 2A EvCo competition.

Tyler Klatush led W.F. West with 15 points and also at five rebounds, while Parker Eiswald had 12 points and five boards and Gage Brumfield scored 10.

Grady Westlund led the Bearcats (3-3, 3-0 EvCo) with nine rebounds and also had four blocks on defense, while Weston Potter dished out four assists to go along with seven boards.

The Bearcats trailed by eight points at halftime and 14 after the third quarter, and couldn't get things much closer down the stretch, despite heating up for 18 in the fourth.

W.F. West will face 3A Capital at home on Thursday, before heading to Ellensburg for the SunDome Shootout next week.
