Barry Sanders, Calvin Johnson to play in Rocket Mortgage Classic celebrity golf scramble
We know Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson are exceptional football players. But how are they on the links?
Detroit-area fans can find out when the Lions legends take part in the Rocket Mortgage Classic celebrity golf scramble at the end of July. The two Pro Football Hall of Famers will participate in the AREA 313 Celebrity Scramble on July 26-27 at the Detroit Golf Club, the days before the actual professional golfers hit the course on the PGA tour event.
Tickets are free but required to check out the celebrity portion of the scramble, which spans just a few holes per the press release.
Lions training camp also kicks off that week, which means two of the team’s biggest legends will be in town to possibly take in the 2022 edition of the team, too.
