Baltimore Ravens at Arizona Cardinals: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 8 game

Week 8 features an interconference battle of the birds as the Arizona Cardinals (1-6) host the high-flying Baltimore Ravens (5-2) at State Farm Stadium.

The Ravens put a 38-6 smacking on the Detroit Lions at home last week. Lamar Jackson had a stellar day, going 21-of-27 for 357 yards and three passing touchdowns. He added nine rushes for 36 yards and a score on the ground. This came after Baltimore captured a victory in London against the Tennessee Titans a week earlier where Zay Flowers got his first career touchdown.

The Cardinals are on a four-game losing streak and are back home after a 20-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week. Safety Budda Baker returned after missing five games with a hamstring injury and had six tackles. Running back James Conner is still out on injured reserve, but Kyler Murray has been taking reps in practice.

Lorenzo Reyes: Ravens 34, Cardinals 19

Baltimore crushed the Lions and the offense under Todd Monken may have unlocked its identity. Lamar Jackson is playing at an MVP level and the Cardinals have cooled, losing their last four and failing to cover a single one.

Tyler Dragon: Ravens 28, Cardinals 17

Are the Ravens the best team in the AFC? The Ravens played their most complete football game in last week’s beat down of the Detroit Lions. Baltimore’s beating teams through the air and on the ground. The Ravens quietly have the No. 2 ranked defense in the NFL. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson is an MVP candidate.

Safid Deen: Ravens 27, Cardinals 17

Lamar Jackson is back in the MVP race after a huge win over the Lions last week, and the Ravens should continue pressing forward against a Cardinals team that has come back down to earth with one of the most depleted rosters in the league.

Victoria Hernandez: Ravens 26, Cardinals 19

Lamar Jackson scored four touchdowns in Baltimore’s romp last week to make a statement. The lowly Cardinals are on a four-game losing streak and have been struggling with injuries. Baltimore won’t put on quite the show this week on the road, but will march to another victory easily enough.

Jordan Mendoza: Ravens 27, Cardinals 13

Arizona once again faces a tough opponent in what has been a brutal early schedule. Baltimore completely dominated Detroit last week, and while the offense won't be as flashy as it was against the Lions, the Ravens have no trouble in getting their third straight win and staying on top of the AFC North. Baltimore is a good candidate to cover, as Arizona has lost by double-digits in four straight games.
