Bailey Zappe continues hot streak with strong first half vs Chiefs

The ongoing hot streak for New England Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe continued in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

After putting on a quarterbacking clinic against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, the second-year signal-caller was lighting it up once again against the defending Super Bowl champions in Foxborough. He finished the first half of the game going 17-of-19 for 141 yards and one touchdown.

It has been an all-around strong effort for the Patriots with offensive skilled players like tight end Hunter Henry and wide receiver DeVante Parker making major impacts early in the game. The defense has also held up strong against Patrick Mahomes and an explosive Chiefs offense.

But Zappe has reinvigorated the team with his confidence on the field, along with his ability to minimize the backbreaking mental errors that have hurt the team throughout the season.
