Auburn vs. Mississippi State: Stream, injury report, broadcast info for Saturday’s game at Neville Arena

Auburn Basketball plays Mississippi State on Saturday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

The No. 22 Auburn Tigers look to continue their winning streak on Saturday night when they host Mississippi State at Neville Arena in Auburn.

After suffering a discouraging loss to Georgia on Jan. 4 in Athens, the Tigers have won two consecutive games. In that stretch, Auburn defeated then-No. 13 Arkansas and most recently dominated the second half of their win over Ole Miss. Auburn returns home on Saturday to face what head coach Bruce Pearl expects to be a physical game.

“They are really athletic. They are really physical. They play really hard,”  Pearl said Friday. “They are well coached and they are multiple defensive–man, zone, they will press. They are ranked really high in steals.”

The Bulldogs opened the season with an 11-0 record, but have since fallen to 1-3 in SEC play. Pearl respects Mississippi State’s tenacity and says that his team needs to limit their opportunities.

“At times offense has been a challenge for us so for us to continue to keep our turnovers down if we can, and play better on our drop-back defense, and keep these guys off the boards,” Pearl said. “I think they are like 13th nationally in offensive rebounding–they just fly to the boards.”

One player to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday’s game is forward Chris Moore. Moore, who left Tuesday’s game at Ole Miss early due to a shoulder injury, did not practice Friday. If he were to not play Saturday, expect Allen Flanigan to receive more playing time.

Below is every piece of key information that you need to know ahead of Auburn’s game against Mississippi State including a how-to-watch guide, injury report, and a projected starting five.
