Auburn receives no votes in latest AP poll

Auburn’s chances of re-entering the AP poll took a massive blow with their disappointing 67-65 loss to Vanderbilt.

The Tigers did not receive a single vote in the newest AP poll released on Monday. It is the second-straight week they did not receive a vote in the poll as they have now lost six of their last eight games.

Auburn (18-9, 8-6 SEC) will be hard-pressed to climb back into the poll as they have just four more regular season games before the SEC Tournament starts. They will have a chance to pick up some signature wins though, as they will close out the regular season against Alabama and Tennessee.

They are the two highest-ranked SEC teams in the poll, with Alabama checking in at No. 2 and Tennessee at No. 11. Texas A&M just made it into the top 25 at No. 25 while Kentucky (12), Arkansas (6), and Missouri (3) all received votes.
