Gymnastics announces home meet schedule

Auburn Gymnastics is one step closer to opening the season by announcing its home slate for the 2023 season.

The Tigers will host five meets as part of the home schedule, including three meets against top SEC competition. The first meet of the season will take place on January 20 at Neville Arena against Arkansas.

Davis Daniel earns PCL Pitcher of the Month honors

Former Auburn pitcher Davis Daniel closed out the AAA season in style by earning Pitcher of the Month honors from the Pacific Coast League.

In the month of September, Daniel went 1-1 with a 2.38 ERA, and allowed six earned runs on 14 hits and five walks while striking out 16 batters over 22.2 innings for the Salt Lake Bees, the AAA affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels.

Davis started 21 games this season for the Bees. He ends the season with 6-7 record, 83 strikeouts, and an ERA of 4.49 over 102.1 innings pitched.

Haddock signs NIL deal with local food delivery service

Soccer star Anna Haddock is officially on the NIL train after signing a deal with local food delivery company, FetchMe. The deal was reportedly made through Auburn’s NIL collective, On To Victory.

Haddock is having an incredible season for Auburn Soccer. Through 14 games, the junior midfielder has accumulated 12 points, with 20 shots on goal. According to On3’s NIL deal tracker, Haddock has a NIL value of $18,000.

Donaldson, Yankees return to action Thursday

The New York Yankees will look to extend their lead over the Cleveland Guardians to 2-0 in the American League Division Series tonight at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

In Tuesday’s 4-1 game one win over the Guardians, Yankees’ third baseman and former Auburn Tiger Josh Donaldson went 2-for-2 with a walk.

Game two between the Yankees and Guardians begins at 6:37 p.m. CT this evening and can be seen on TBS.
