Arrows host Aberdeen Central and Huron in home triangular in the Civic Arena

The regular season is winding down and the Watertown High School gymnastics team finally got to compete at home.

The Arrows compiled a season-best score of 143.55 and easily turned back Aberdeen Central (135.25) and Huron (128.0) in a high school triangular on Thursday in the Civic Arena.

All three teams, plus others, will be back Saturday for the Eastern South Dakota Conference state-qualifying Class AA meet at 2 p.m. The Metro Conference meet, also a state-qualifier, is set for 10 a.m. in the Civic Arena.

The state meet is slated for Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9-10 at Pierre.
