Around the North: More drama around Lamar Jackson and the Ravens

The uncertainty around Lamar Jackson’s future with the Cleveland Browns‘ rival the Baltimore Ravens continues as more details about negotiations have hit social media. Reports have surfaced, likely from the team, that Lamar turned down a 200 million dollar deal from the Ravens in September. Jackson’s response on Twitter suggests that he is claiming the reports are false.

He also responded with a tweet saying “133/3 fully guaranteed” which makes one believe this is posturing by the Ravens. The more this plays out in the public the more it seems like the two sides are past the point of reconciliation and that Jackson will end up playing somewhere else in 2023.
