Armando Bacot leaves UNC’s ACC Tournament game against Boston College

The North Carolina Tar Heels know what they have to do in Greensboro this week if they want to reach the NCAA Tournament. Winning four games in four days is a tough task and the Tar Heels will need to bring their A-game for four-straight days.

While North Carolina got off toa. good start in the first half, building a double-digit lead against the Eagles, they suffered what could be a tough loss.

Senior forward Armando Bacot left the game around the 5-minute mark, rolling his ankle going for a rebound. It’s the same ankle that Bacot rolled in the loss to Virginia earlier in the year which cost him the rest of the game.

Bacot did not return in the first half as the game goes on and while UNC has the lead at halftime, getting their best player back is the goal.

UPDATE: Armando Bacot was back on the floor to start the second half

We will have more on Bacot’s injury when it becomes available.

Bacot is having another big season with the Tar Heels, averaging a double-double which earned him First-Team All-ACC honors.
