Arkansas baseball vs. Oral Roberts: Live score updates

Ninth Inning

  • FINAL: No. 1 Arkansas 4, Oral Roberts 2. The Razorbacks (14-2) win their 10-straight game thanks to another dominant pitching performance. The bats did enough, but left plenty of chances out there. Next up: Missouri at home to open play in the SEC.

Eighth Inning

  • Nothing doing for Arkansas in the bottom half. Gaeckle has two runs to protect as we head to the ninth.

  • Gabe Gaeckle gets out of the jam with a fly out to left. The freshman has been tremendous in high-leverage situations this year. Arkansas is coming to bat with a 4-2 advantage and looking for insurance runs.

  • Oral Roberts scores another run and is still threatening. The Owls have runners on the corners with two outs, so Dave Van Horn is summoning freshman closer Gabe Gaeckle out of the bullpen in this high-leverage situation. The Arkansas lead is 4-2.

Seventh Inning

  • Arkansas got the first two runners on in the bottom of the seventh, but the next three batters went down with a pair of strikeouts to end the inning. The Hogs lead 4-1 as we head to the eighth. Arkansas has left nine runners on base this evening.

  • Oral Roberts is on the board thanks to a sacrifice fly by Sam Thompson. Dylan Carter gave up the run and left the game with one out and a runner on first. Koty Frank came in and immediately got an inning-ending double play. Arkansas leads 4-1 at the stretch.

Sixth Inning

  • Stone Hewlett got two outs and gave up a single, leading to a Dylan Carter appearance out of the bullpen. Carter got the final out, and the Hogs still lead 4-0.

Fifth Inning

  • It's 4-0 Arkansas after a solo home run from Kendall Diggs. The right fielder now has two homers in his last three games. Stone Hewlett is coming out of the bullpen for the top of the sixth, relieving Will McEntire.

Fourth Inning

  • Will McEntire came out of the bullpen to pitch a scoreless fourth. Arkansas leads 3-0 heading to the bottom half of the inning.

Third Inning

  • Oral Roberts loads the bases with two outs, but Colin Fisher gets out of the jam. Fisher has now thrown three scoreless innings, and there's nobody warming up in the bullpen.

Second Inning

  • Arkansas jumps out in front with three runs in the inning. Peyton Stovall had two RBIs and Wehiwa Aloy drove in one. Stovall was thrown out at home plate to end the inning, but the Hogs lead 3-0 heading to the third.

First Inning

  • Arkansas got runners to first and second with just one out, but Hudson Polk popped out and Kendall Diggs went down swinging. Still scoreless as we head to the second.

  • Oral Roberts gets a leadoff single, but the runner is picked off first and Colin Fisher works a scoreless inning.

Pregame

  • For the first time this season, Arkansas baseball is playing at night. The Hogs' lineup is below, and there are quite a few changes from Sunday's win over McNeese State. Freshman Colin Fisher will be on the bump for Arkansas tonight.
