Arkansas baseball vs. Oklahoma State: Live score updates

14th Inning

  • FINAL: Oklahoma State 2, No. 4 Arkansas 1. Lane Forsythe lays down the suicide squeeze to give the Cowboys a marathon victory. An error by Jared Sprague-Lott played a big part, leading to runners on second and third with just one out. Arkansas now turns its attention to Michigan in about 14 hours.

  • Arkansas got a runner to second with one out, but the Hogs couldn't take advantage. We've now reached the second seventh-inning stretch of the night.

13th Inning

  • Colin Fisher struck out the side to send us to the 14th. Fisher hasn't given up a run in seven innings pitched this season.

  • Jayson Jones walked, Jared Sprague-Lott singled and both players moved up a base on a wild pitch. The Hogs had second and third with two outs, but Ty Wilmsmeyer grounded out to third to end the inning.

12th Inning

  • Let's head to the 13th. Oklahoma State got the winning run to second base after a leadoff walk and. a sacrifice bunt, but Colin Fisher relieved Gaeckle and got out of the jam with two strikeouts.

  • Arkansas strands a runner at second and can't grab an advantage. Wehiwa Aloy ended the inning with a strikeout. It's been a tough weekend for Aloy, who is now 0-for-9 with 5 Ks.

11th Inning

  • It's another shutout inning for Gaeckle. The freshman rose to the occasion in a big spot. It's still 1-1 as we head to the 12th.

  • Jared Sprague-Lott reached second on a two-out double, but he's stranded there. Arkansas is now 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position and 1-for-17 with runners on base at all.

10th Inning

  • Gaeckle responds with a 1-2-3 inning of his own. More free baseball is on the way in Texas.

  • Arkansas goes down 1-2-3 in the top half as a tough night for the offense continues. Gaeckle is coming back out for the bottom of the 10th.

Ninth Inning

  • Gaeckle gets out of it with back-to-back strikeouts to strand the bases loaded. One of those pitches looked like a game-ending ball four, but Arkansas gets a bit of luck. It's 1-1 as we head to extra innings.

  • Tie game. Aidan Meola doubles to right field off Faherty, and now the winning run is just 90 feet away. After a hit by pitch, Dave Van Horn is summoning freshman Gabe Gaeckle from the bullpen.

  • Oklahoma State has runners on first and second with one out after a pair of walks from Faherty. The stuff is electric, but he's still trying to find consistent control. Oklahoma State is one hit away from tying this game, while Arkansas is one ground ball away from ending it.

  • The Hogs stranded runners on the corners and have now left eight men on base tonight. ake Faherty is coming out of the bullpen to try and get a save on back-to-back nights. Arkansas leads the Pokes 1-0.

Eighth Inning

  • Koty Frank and Stone Hewlett combine to pitch a scoreless eighth. Frank now hasn't given up a hit in five innings of work this season.

  • Ben McLaughlin led off the top of the eighth with a single, but he was stranded at first after three consecutive outs. The Arkansas bats remain quiet, but the Hogs still lead 1-0.

Seventh Inning

  • It was another scoreless inning. Arkansas stranded runners on first and second, while Koty Frank relieved Brady Tygart and struck out the side. Tygart's ERA is down to 0.82 through two starts this season.

Sixth Inning

  • Nothing doing for either side in the sixth inning. Oklahoma State is going to the bullpen to start the seventh after Brian Holiday gave up just one run and two hits across six innings.

Fifth Inning

  • Brady Tygart sets Oklahoma State down 1-2-3 in the bottom half. That was a nice shutdown inning for Tygart after the Hogs grabbed the lead. It's been another impressive start for the junior.

  • Arkansas takes a 1-0 lead. Jared Sprague-Lott led off the inning with a double, and after a sacrifice bunt from Ty Wilmsmeyer, Sprague-Lott scored on an RBI single by Kendall Diggs.

Fourth Inning

  • Neither team musters much of a threat in the fourth. The two starters are both in a groove, and despite last night's win, it's been a quiet weekend overall for the Arkansas offense.

Third Inning

  • Web Gem alert. Arkansas third baseman Jared Sprague-Lott bare hands a high chopper and gets the speedy Carson Benge at first for the final out of the inning. It's still scoreless, and the Hogs don't have a hit as we head to the fourth inning.

Second Inning

  • It's still scoreless as we head to the third. Jayson Jones made a terrific play for Arkansas in the bottom half, throwing out Ian Daughterty at second base for the final out as the Oklahoma State catcher tried to turn a single into a double.

First Inning

  • Brady Tygart works around a walk and an error with no outs to set down the Pokes. Nice job forcing an inning-ending double play, and it's scoreless as we head to the second.

Pregame

  • It's going to be another great environment tonight inside Globe Life Field. Arkansas fans have filled out the first-base sideline.
