Arkansas baseball vs. Michigan: Live score updates

Ninth Inning

  • FINAL: No. 4 Arkansas 4, Michigan 3. It got super tight there at the end with the Wolverines loading the bases and putting the winning run at scoring position, but the Hogs prevail for another winning weekend. It was a terrific showing from the pitching staff across all three games. Definitely some concerns with the bats. Hogs move to 5-2.

  • Michigan has the tying run in scoring position and the winning run at first. The Wolverines have already scored twice this inning, with the second run coming off a bad error by Jared Sprague-Lott at third base. Arkansas leads 4-3.

  • Nothing doing for Arkansas in the top half, and the Hogs will call upon Koty Frank out of the bullpen to try and get the final three outs.

Eighth Inning

  • Michigan gets on the board with an unearned run, but Will McEntire makes sure the lead stays at 4-1 as we head to the ninth.

Seventh Inning

  • Michigan gets its first hit of the day on a two-out double from Cole Caruso, but McEntire strands him at second base.

  • Arkansas adds an insurance run off a single by Ben McLaughlin, but the Hogs stranded runners on second and third. They still can't get that gamebreaking hit. Arkansas leads Michigan 4-0 as we head to the bottom of the seventh.

Sixth Inning

  • Will McEntire works around a two-out walk for a scoreless inning. Hogs still lead 3-0.

  • Arkansas can't score in the top half, and Mason Molina's night is done after five hitless innings of work. Will McEntire is coming out of the bullpen for his second appearance of the weekend.

Fifth Inning

  • Both teams went down 1-2-3 in the fifth. Mason Molina has now retired the last eight Michigan batters and has 10 strikeouts. Arkansas leads 3-0.

Fourth Inning

  • Mason Molina sets Michigan down in order. The Wolverines are still hitless through four, and Molina is up to eight strikeouts.

  • Arkansas extends its lead to 3-0 by scoring two runs on zero hits in the top of the fourth. The Razorbacks walked three times and were hit twice in the inning. Still, they left the bases loaded and missed a chance to break the game open.

Third Inning

  • Mason Molina strands a runner at third in the bottom half, and the Hogs still lead 1-0. Molina now has seven strikeouts without giving up a hit on 55 pitches.

Second Inning

  • Arkansas stranded runners at first and second, while Mason Molina struck out the side in a scoreless second. The Razorbacks still lead 1-0.

First Inning

  • Mason Molina sets Michigan down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the first. Molina struck out two batters and needed just 17 pitches. The Hogs need him to go at least 5 innings today with how many bullpen arms were used last night.

  • It took just three innings for Arkansas to match last night's run total. Will Edmunson drew a leadoff walk and then scored on an RBI double by Ben McLaughlin. Hogs up 1-0 heading to the bottom half.

Pregame Notes

  • Starting lineups are in and posted below. Dave Van Horn makes a ton of changes for the Hogs, going with a lefty-heavy lineup and giving starters like Hudson White, Peyton Holt and Jayson Jones a breather.
