Arkansas baseball, Florida to play doubleheader Saturday due to weekend weather

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas baseball will play a doubleheader Saturday against Florida due to a rainy weather forecast Sunday.

The No. 2 Razorbacks kickoff a three-game series against the Gators Friday night at 6:15 p.m. The series opener was moved up an hour earlier this week and then delayed 15 minutes on gameday.

Saturday’s doubleheader will consist of two nine-inning games, with approximately a 45-minute break between games. The first game will begin at noon and be available to watch on ESPN2.

The series finale between the Razorbacks and Gators will stream on SEC Network+ as originally scheduled.

Arkansas is 3-3 in its last two SEC matchups, but the Hogs are riding a 25-game win streak at home and haven't lost an SEC game in Fayetteville all year. Last weekend, Arkansas took two-of-three games on the road against South Carolina.

The Gators have struggled in midweek games all season and have now lost three-straight series in the SEC.
