Arizona Republic's boys basketball high school rankings: Super 10 through 1A, Jan. 28, 2024

Here are The Arizona Republic's latest high school boys basketball rankings through Jan. 28, 2024. Super 10 comprises the top team in the state, regardless of conference.

Super 10

1. Goodyear Millennium Tigers, 17-4

Led by Cameron Holmes, Kingston Tosi and Sabien Cain, this is the only team that has yet to lose to an Arizona opponent.

2. Scottsdale Notre Dame Saints, 20-3

They've won nine in a row, making a statement in last week's 99-83 win at Desert Mountain with the Big 3 of Brennan Peterson, Anthony Batson Jr., and Bryce Quinet stepping up.

3. Phoenix St. Mary's Knights, 18-6

This 4A team has yet to lose in January, as guard Styles Phipps has taken over. He's got big help with Cameron Williams and Caspian Jones, along with guard Kenny White.

4. Phoenix Brophy Prep Broncos, 13-9

Beating Perry and Basha in back-to-back weeks shows how far they've come since the dropping five of seven games with defense much improved.

5. Gilbert Perry Pumas, 16-5

Got back on track last week with wins over Hamilton and Chandler, behind juniors D'Andre Harrison and Koa Peat.

6. Phoenix Sunnyslope Vikings, 15-5

Took a step back in a 71-64 loss to Boulder Creek, but turned it on the following game by blowing out Pinnacle 74-41 behind Rider Portela's 18 points.

7. Desert Mountain Wolves, 16-5

Two sets of twins — Kaden and Kalek House, Jabron and Javon Bardwell — go at such an electric pace that it's hard to slow them down.

8. Glendale Ironwood Eagles, 21-2

They've won 16 in a row, demolishing their last five opponents by at least 30 points, as guards Blake Carabio, Noah Gifft and I'yar Shadowvine lead this 5A team that four years ago won the state title.

9. Chandler Basha Bears, 16-6

The 63-46 loss to Brophy might be just what it needed to get ready for the Perry rematch on Tuesday.

10. Chandler Valley Christian Trojans, 21-2

This 3A juggernaut hopes to stay strong the for the last four games of the regular season, before star Luke Shaw returns for the start of the state tournament with hopes of capturing a third straight 3A title.
