Andre Drummond plans to go down as the ‘best rebounder ever’

The Chicago Bulls bulked up their front line depth this offseason by signing veteran big man Andre Drummond to back up Nikola Vucevic.

On Saturday, Drummond returned home to Connecticut for his partnership with YMCA, which helps gives back to children in the community with “Andre’s All-Star’s.”

Drummond spoke to local media during the appearance, where the Bulls new big man spoke on where he ranks among the best rebounders in NBA history.

“I think I’m already there,” Drummond said, per CTinsider.com. “I’m on my way. By the time I retire, I’ll go down as the best rebounder ever — if not already.”

Drummond’s per game average of 13.3 rebounds currently ranks No. 11 all-time in league history, where as his 9,519 career rebounds ranks No. 46 all-time.
