Alabama High School Football: Montgomery-area matchups and predictions for Week 10
Week 10 of the Alabama high school football season has arrived and games begin Thursday, Nov. 2 as the regular season winds down to its final week.
The Montgomery Advertiser will be present at Pike Road hosting B.T. Washington. However, here are the top five Montgomery-area matchups in Week 10 with game predictions provided by prep writer Jerry Humphrey III.

Saint James vs Carroll
Date: Friday, Nov. 2
Time: 7 p.m.
Prediction: Saint James wins 35-21
Analysis: Saint James will be coming off an idle week in this upcoming Carroll matchup. With one more game until playoffs, senior night will go in the Trojans favor as they will close out the season victorious.
Prattville Christian vs Monroe County
Date: Friday, Nov. 2.
Time: 7 p.m.
Prediction: Prattville Christian wins 38-0
Analysis: Already eliminated from playoff contention, Prattville Christian looks to end the season at .500. With one win away from a 5-5 record, the Panthers will dominate Monroe County.
Elmore County vs Jemison
Date: Friday, Nov. 2
Time: 7 p.m.
Prediction: Elmore County wins 42-14
Analysis: Elmore County has its playoff spot secured and is waiting to see who they’ll meet in the first round. This Week 10 matchup will serve more as a warmup game as they should win in convincing fashion.
Wetumpka vs Central Clay County
Date: Friday, Nov. 2
Time: 7 p.m.
Prediction: Wetumpka wins 31-28
Analysis: In an out of conference matchup between two playoff bound programs, this will be a game full of back and forth action. Central won this matchup by five points last year. This year the favor lies in Wetumpka’s hands to pull off the upset.
Prattville vs Central Phenix City
Date: Friday, Nov. 2
Time: 7 p.m.
Prediction: Phenix City wins 28-10
Analysis: This season has not been going Prattville's way, and closing out the season against Phenix City will only make things worse. Entering the game 8-0, Phenix City will close out the regular season undefeated.
