Alabama football coaching staff salaries: Contract details for Nick Sheridan, Kane Wommack

Contract details have been released for the 2024 Alabama football coaching staff that includes Kalen DeBoer, Nick Sheridan, Kane Wommack and others.

The compensation committee for the UA System Board of Trustees met Monday to approve contracts for DeBoer and his new staff ahead of the 2024 season. Nick Saban retired on Jan. 10, and DeBoer brought in almost an entirely new staff. The only coaches who stayed on are Freddie Roach and Robert Gillespie.

The new list of assistant coaches includes Wommack, Sheridan, JaMarcus Shephard, Colin Hitschler, Maurice Linguist, Bryan Ellis, Chris Kapilovic and Christian Robinson. Sheridan and Shephard also coached with DeBoer at Washington the past two seasons.

Alabama football coaching staff contracts, salaries

Kalen DeBoer, head coach

Salary for 2024: $10 million

End of contract: Dec. 31, 2031

Kane Wommack, defensive coordinator

Salary for 2024: $1.55 million

End of contract: Feb. 28, 2027

Nick Sheridan, offensive coordinator

Salary for 2024: $1.35 million

End of contract: Feb. 28, 2027

Note: Sheridan also received $650,000 from Jan. 23, 2024 through Jan. 31, 2024. But his pay from Feb. 1, 2024-Feb. 28, 2025 will be $1.35 million.
