Shooting guard Andre Armstrong (13 points), power forward Charles Ieans (12) and shooting guard Sterling Smith (10) also scored in double figures for the Eagles.

Coppin State never led in the game, although the Eagles did tie the score on a couple of occasions in the first half. They got as close as 58-51 in the second period following a 12-1 run.
