Add the tight ends to the list: Bills’ Dawson Knox, Dalton Kincaid have injuries

The Bills might be down to Quintin Morris at the tight end position if we don’t hear a positive update throughout the upcoming week.

According to head coach Sean McDermott on Monday, the team’s trip to London to face the Jaguars also included tight ends Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid getting banged up.

More notably, linebacker Matt Milano (knee) and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones (pectoral) were both injured and left the contest and did not return. It’s now expected that pair will miss close to, if not all, of the rest of the 2023 season.

McDermott said Knox has a wrist injury, meanwhile, Kincaid is in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

The coach said the team will monitor both players as they move toward their Sunday night game against the Giants in Week 6.

During the 25-20 loss to the Jaguars, Kincaid was evaluated for a head injury but had been cleared to return. Because of that, Kincaid might have a good chance of being cleared in the coming days. Regardless, he’s a name to watch.

Knox was not slapped with any sort of injury designation during Sunday’s game. Prior to the trip to London, Knox was on the team’s injury report.

However, he was only limited due to a quad injury. The wrist injury is new.

Kincaid, a first-round rookie, has 17 catches for 118 yards on the season. Knox has 11 catches for a 75 yards in 2023.

Bills Wire will continue to bring all injury updates for the team throughout the 2023 season.
