Aaron Rodgers ruled out with Achilles injury, team says X-rays negative

It was a sight no Jets fans wanted to see.

Aaron Rodgers, the Jets' new superstar quarterback, had to be removed from Monday night's game against Buffalo after being sacked by Bills LB Leonard Floyd.

There was a cart waiting for Rodgers by the team's medical tent on the sideline. The team then announced that he is ruled out with an ankle injury, although X-rays came back negative.

"We still have a hell of a group of guys, and, obviously Aaron's a big part of that, but we still have an unbelievable defense, we got a lot of great guys on offense and we'll get this thing done."
