Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers dominate Dallas Cowboys in NFC wild card game
El Paso's own Green Bay running back Aaron Jones had three touchdowns as the Packers dominated the Dallas Cowboys in Sunday's NFC wild card game.
Green Bay beat Dallas 48 to 32. The Cowboys had massive expectations and were the heavy favorite as they faced a surprising Packers team. The game was the latest in a rich playoff history between the storied teams.
Jones, who played football at El Paso's Burges High School and UTEP, has done well when returning to Texas to face the Dallas Cowboys.
Jones' third touchdown gave Green Bay a 34-10 lead with 6:38 left in the third quarter. The Packers move on to face the San Francisco 49ers. The season is over for Dallas.
