55 Corpus Christi area high school volleyball players to watch in 2023

The high school volleyball season hits high gear on Monday across Texas with the first regular season matches.

Coastal Bend area squads will be looking to break past the regional semifinal barrier. Of the four UIL classifications that local volleyball squads participate in, two reached the regional quarterfinals (Flour Bluff and Rockport-Fulton) and two advanced to the regional semifinals (London and Three Rivers) in 2022.

The last time a Coastal Bend team reached a regional final was 2018, when Tuloso-Midway won Region IV-5A to qualify for the state tournament a second time.

Here is a look at some players to watch from across the Coastal Bend in all classifications.
