50 Clarksville-area boys and girls wrestlers to watch during the TSSAA postseason

The Tennessee high school wrestling season has reached its final month.

TSSAA individual postseason tournaments are set to begin, with Division I and Division II boys regionals this weekend. Girls regionals and DI boys sectionals must be completed by Feb. 17, with the DII boys state championship Feb. 16-17 in Nashville. State championships for girls and DI boys will take place Feb. 23-24 in Franklin.

Here's a look at the top Clarksville-area boys and girls wrestlers who are vying for TSSAA state titles.

Boys wrestlers to watch

Logan Brown, Kirkwood, So.: Brown is 47-5 competing at 144 and 150 pounds. He won the Red Hawk Rampage and has two other second-place finishes.

Nick Collins, Rossview, Jr.: Collins is 47-9 at 126 and 132 pounds and has a trio of second-place tournament finishes.

Ethan Cunningham, Northwest, Sr.: Cunningham is 45-8 at 157 pounds. He won the Bruise Brothers Brawl and was second at the Maher/Garstin Battle for Indy.

Jamie Dexter, West Creek, So.: Dexter is 25-9 at 120 pounds and won the Red Hawk Rampage. He also was second at the Coyote Classic.

Robert Frost, Kirkwood, Sr.: Frost is 43-14 at 150 and 157 pounds. His best tournament finish was third place at the Red Hawk Rampage.

Garrett Furnas, West Creek, Sr.: Furnas is 27-5 at 126 pounds. He won the Red Hawk Rampage and finished runner-up at the Coyote Crush and Commando Classic.

John-Patrick Goodings, Northwest, Sr.: Goodings is 41-9 at 215 pounds. He has a pair of third-place tournament finishes.

Ty Hutchens, West Creek, So.: Hutchens is 30-8 at 144 pounds. He placed first at the Commando Crush and second at the Coyote Classic.

Jackson Key, Montgomery Central, Fr.: Key is 23-8 at 120 pounds.

Max Landrum, Rossview, Sr.: Landrum is 42-7 at 150 pounds. He won the Beech Invitational and has three more top-three finishes.

Payton Langan, Clarksville, Sr.: Langan is 23-8 competing at 215 and 285 pounds. He was second at the GP West Bruin Invitational and third at the SBA New Year Festival.

Reese Levendusky, Montgomery Central, Sr.: Levendusky is 28-3 at 144 pounds and won the title at the Bruise Brothers Invitational.

Luke Louzensky, Kirkwood, Fr.: Louzensky is 35-6 at 138 and 144 pounds and placed first at the Red Hawk Rampage.

Jeremy Mills, Montgomery Central, Sr.: Mills is 26-4 competing at 138, 144 and 150 pounds. He finished second at the Ariel Rojas-Avila Memorial Tournament.

Devin Otero, Rossview, Sr.: Otero is 40-12 at 165 pounds and was the runner-up of the Battle for Indy.

Aiden Renken, West Creek, Sr.: Renken is 31-10 at 138 pounds. His best finish was second at the Coyote Classic.

Aiden Rowe, Clarksville, Fr.: Rowe is 28-11 at 113 pounds and won the SBA New Year Festival.

Chris Schroth, Rossview, Jr.: Schroth is 43-8 at 120 pounds and won the Beech Invitational. He also placed second at the Battle for Indy.

Kevin Shaw, Northwest, Sr.: Shaw is 39-4 at 190 pounds. He won the Bruise Brothers Brawl and placed second at two other tournaments.

Kade Shipley, Clarksville, Jr.: Shipley is 32-15 at 150 pounds and has two tournament championships: the Ray Dalton Invitational and SBA New Year Festival.

Matthew Thompson, Northeast, Sr.: Thompson is 24-5 at 215 pounds.

Standford Thompson, West Creek, Jr.: Thompson is 34-3 competing at 175 and 190 pounds and has three tournament titles: the Coyote Classic, Red Hawk Rampage and Commando Crush.

Rolden Timothy, Northwest, Sr.: Timothy is 45-6 at heavyweight and was the champion of the Harpeth Invitational and Battle for Indy.

Henry Williams, Northwest, Sr.: Williams is 46-5 at 175 pounds and took first place at the Battle for Indy. He has three other top-three finishes.

Sam Ziegler, Clarksville, Fr.: Ziegler is 18-7 at 106 pounds and was the Ray Dalton Invitational champion.

Girls wrestlers to watch

Lily Avalos, Rossview, Jr.: Avalos is 29-7 at 152 pounds and was the runner-up of the Tullahoma Garner-Dyer Girls Invitational and Red Hawk Rampage.

Jes'Onia Barefield, West Creek, Jr.: Barefield is 32-2 competing mostly at 126 pounds and has won six regular-season tournament championships.

Mariana Bowen, West Creek, So.: Bowen is 36-1 competing from 132 to 145 pounds and has five tournament victories. At Rossview last season, she beat Barefield in the state championship match at 120 pounds.

Audra Buckley, Montgomery Central, Jr.: Buckley is 35-7 at 185 pounds. She won the Rossview Lady Hawk Invitational, Fort Campbell Girls Tournament, Red Hawk Rampage and has a pair of runner-up finishes.

Lexi Dean, West Creek, Fr.: Dean is 31-1 at 120 pounds. She won the Coyote Classic, Ramsey Rumble, Rossview Invitational, Henderson County Lady Colonel Invitational, Red Hawk Rampage and Franklin Admiral Invitational.

Niera Dixon, Northwest, Sr.: Dixon is 25-6 at 107 pounds and placed third at the Tullahoma Invitational, Ramsey Rumble and Fandetti-Richardson Brawl.

Ava Johnson, Clarksville, Fr.: Johnson is 37-5 at 120 pounds. She won the Rossview Invitational, Battle for Indy and Memphis Girls Open and was second at two other tournaments.

Janiya Johnson, Kirkwood, Fr.: Johnson is 39-1 competing mostly at 152 pounds and has six tournament wins, her only loss coming in the first-place match of the Battle for Indy.

Sally Johnson, Northwest, So.: Johnson is 39-7 at 145 and 152 pounds. She won the Battle for Indy and came in second at three other tournaments.

Jocelyn Kolozsy, Montgomery Central, Jr.: Kolozsy is 40-6 at 138 pounds. She was first at the Coyote Classic, Rossview Invitational and Fort Campbell Invitational and also has two runner-up finishes.

Audrey Levendusky, Montgomery Central, So.: Levendusky is 42-2 at 145 pounds. A defending state champion at 126 pounds, she has five tournament titles this season.

Shyanne Michalski, Northwest, Sr.: Michalski is 42-1 at 114 pounds and has five first-place finishes. Her only loss came in the title match of the Rossview Invitational.

Najette Mojica-Soto, West Creek, Jr.: Mojica-Soto is 26-6 competing at 114, 120 and 126 pounds and took first place at the Ramsey Rumble, Rossview Invitational and Franklin Invitational.

Tyvenoria Munene, Northwest, Jr.: Munene is 40-3 at 235 pounds. She won the Tullahoma Invitational and Rossview Invitational in addition to a pair of third-place finishes.

Cearyona O'Connor, Montgomery Central, Sr.: O'Connor is 35-2 at 165 pounds and was the champion of the Coyote Classic, Ramsey Rumble, Rossview Invitational, Red Hawk Rampage and Memphis Girls Open.

Eleasa Renken, West Creek, Jr.: Renken is 29-6 and has competed at 114, 120, 126 and 138 pounds. She won the Ramsey Rumble and Rossview Invitational and was second at four other tournaments.

Miranda Robles, Clarksville, Sr.: Robles is 33-11 at 100 pounds and has three tournament runner-up finishes.

Anjolina Rosario, Northwest, So.: Rosario is 32-15 at 185 pounds. Her best results this season are third-place finishes at the Rossview Invitational and Fandetti-Richardson Brawl.

Molly Scoville, Clarksville Academy, Jr.: Scoville is 9-2 at 145 pounds and won the St. Andrews Mountain Top Invitational title.

Brooklyn Whiteside, Clarksville, Sr.: Whiteside is 38-6 competing mostly at 138 pounds and won the Battle for Indy and Memphis Girls Open. She was the runner-up of the Ramsey Rumble and Fort Campbell Girls Tournament.

Emily Whitmore, Montgomery Central, Sr.: Whitmore is 30-9 at 126 and 132 pounds. She was second at the Fort Campbell Tournament and third at the Coyote Classic.

Nevada Williams, Rossview, Fr.: Williams is 32-9 at 132 pounds and won the Red Hawk Rampage in addition to a trio of runner-up finishes.

Zahara Williams, Kirkwood, Jr.: Williams is 16-4 at heavyweight and took first place at the Fort Campbell Tournament.

Sha'niayha Wysinger, Clarksville, Sr.: Wysinger is 4-2 at 235 pounds and has won two straight state championships there.

Ava Ziegler, Clarksville, So.: Ziegler is 13-4 at 132 pounds and won the Memphis Girls Open.
