Class 5A Shawnee (14-6 overall, 9-2 District 5A-1) at Class 5A Carl Albert (15-4, 7-3 District 5A-1)

When: 6 p.m. Tuesday

With undefeated El Reno standing atop the district, Shawnee and Carl Albert are vying for second place. Shawnee overpowered Carl Albert, 43-35, in January, but the Titans have home-court advantage this time. The Wolves arrive with momentum from coach Wendi Wells’ 300th win, a 51-25 defeat of host Crossings Christian last Friday. Shawnee has a knack for knocking down 3-pointers, but the Titans know how to play stout defense.

Class 4A North Rock Creek (16-4) at Class 3A Jones (15-4)

When: 6:15 p.m. Tuesday

This is an intriguing cross-district matchup between ranked teams. No. 19 Class 4A North Rock Creek and No. 3 Class 3A Jones have similar records, and the result is unpredictable because they haven’t met this season. The three-time state champion Longhorns carry a four-game win streak, including a key 39-35 victory over Bethel.

Class 6A Sand Springs (14-5, 8-2 District 6A-3) at Class 6A Edmond Memorial (15-3, 9-1)

When: 6 p.m. Thursday

Edmond Memorial holds the top spot in the district, but Sand Springs is close behind. The Sandites have defeated the Bulldogs twice this season, in district play and in the Titan Classic. Edmond Memorial’s student section can create a racuous atmosphere, so this is the Bulldogs’ best chance against Sand Springs.

Class 6A Edmond Santa Fe (11-7, 7-4 District 6A-2) at Class 6A Putnam West (18-1, 10-1 District 6A-2)

When: 6 p.m. Friday

Was Putnam West’s loss to Edmond Santa Fe a fluke, or will the Wolves get the best of the Patriots again? District leader Putnam West is out to avenge the sole blemish on its otherwise spotless resume. The Patriots have bounced back from their loss with victories against Yukon and Lawton, while the Wolves have dropped three of their past four games. With OU signee Caya Smith leading Putnam West and 6-foot center Jerney Bennett starring for Edmond Santa Fe, both teams can play solid defense.

Class 5A Lawton MacArthur (13-4, 9-1 District 5A-2) at Class 5A Midwest City (16-3, 10-0)

When: 6 p.m. Friday

The Bombers are rolling through district play with an undefeated record, while Lawton MacArthur stands at No. 2. In January, Midwest City claimed a 53-40 win over the Highlanders. De’Yanna Douglas has continued to stand out for Midwest City, most recently posting a double-double against rival Del City last Friday.
