218 Sports crowns local pickleball champions at Gillett Wellness Center
Mar. 21—BEMIDJI — A field of 85 participants played in the 218 Sports Pickleball GigaZone Classic last Saturday at the Gillett Wellness Center.
Twenty-five of those participants were from Bemidji, while others ventured from as far as St. Paul. The participants ranged in age from 16 to 73, playing across 17 different divisions. Medals were awarded to the victors in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles competitions.
Below are the results for each division.
Singles
4.0+ — 1-Kleyton Martens; 2-Koby Kuenzel; 3-Saylor Kuenzel.
