2024 Boston Marathon has six entrants from Tuscaloosa County
There are six Tuscaloosa County residents on the entry list for the 128th Boston Marathon.
The 2024 Boston Marathon is on Monday, April 15 in downtown Boston. It consists of four different waves, the first starting at 10 a.m. and the remaining three starting 25-minutes after each other, with the final wave starting at 11:15 a.m.
In most cases, to race in Boston requires a qualifying time at a certified marathon, with a few exceptions being made for charity runners. For men ages 18 to 34 the fastest qualifying standard time is three hours. The slowest qualifying time is 5 hours, 20 minutes for women that are 80 years or older.
