2023 World Cup soccer schedule today: Next games, start times, TV channel, how to watch

The final phase of the group stage of the 2023 World Cup continues Tuesday, as teams from Groups D and E fight for a spot in the knockout stages.

Tuesday's slate offers a potentially exciting quartet of games: Vietnam vs. Netherlands, Portugal vs. United States, China vs. England and Haiti vs. Denmark.

The games will decide who from Groups D and E will advance to the knockout stages and who will be eliminated from the World Cup.

Monday featured four games, including three one-sided matchups – Japan beat Spain 4-0, Zambia beat Costa Rica 3-1 and Australia defeated Canada 4-0.

The fourth game, a duel between Nigeria and Ireland, ended in a 0-0 draw.

Japan's win over Spain cementing a Group C win with 9 points. Japan won all three group stage games, scoring 11 goals and conceding zero. Spain finished second in the group with 6 points and also secured a spot in the knockout stages.

Australia's win coupled with Nigeria's draw catapulted Australia to the top of Group B with 6 points. Nigeria finished second in the group with 5 points.

Canada, Ireland, Zambia and Costa Rica were eliminated from the competition.

Vietnam vs. Netherlands: Start time, where to watch

The Vietnam vs. Netherlands game is scheduled to begin at 3 a.m. ET at Dunedin Stadium in Dunedin, New Zealand.

The game will air on Fox Sports 1, with a Spanish-language broadcast on Universo.

You can stream Fox Sports 1 on the Fox Sports app and FoxSports.com, but you'll need TV provider credentials to watch. Spanish-language broadcasts are available on Peacock.

Fox, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Telemundo and Universo can be found on streaming subscription services such as DirecTV Stream, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, Sling, and YouTube TV. Fox Soccer Plus is on most services, also.

United States vs. Portugal: Start time, where to watch

The USWNT vs. Portugal game is scheduled to begin at 3 a.m. ET at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand.

The game will air on Fox, with a Spanish-language broadcast on Telemundo.

China vs. England: Start time, where to watch

The China vs. England game is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. ET at Hindmarsh Stadium outside of Adelaide, Australia.

The game will air on Fox, with a Spanish-language broadcast on Telemundo.

Haiti vs. Denmark: Start time, where to watch

The Haiti vs. Denmark game is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. ET at Perth Rectangular Stadium in Perth, Australia.

The game will air on Fox Sports 1, with a Spanish-language broadcast on Universo.
