Here are the 2023 NJ high school football playoff brackets
The 2023 high school football playoff brackets are set for public schools.
The brackets are based on the final United Power Rankings, which were released Saturday night. Below are the seeds and first-round matchups for each section. The public-school playoffs begin Friday, Oct. 27 with the public section quarterfinals.
Non-public teams play an extra week of the regular season, with playoffs beginning on Friday, Nov. 3. The non-public brackets will be seeded on Oct. 29 after all regular-season games are completed.
The five NJSIAA state championship games for public schools will be played Sunday, Nov. 26 and Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Rutgers' SHI Stadium. The two state championship games for non-public schools will be played Tuesday, Nov. 28 at MetLife Stadium.
