2023 NFL Draft: Jaguars select Derek Parish with No. 240 pick in the draft, complete draft
The Jacksonville Jaguars selected their final pick of 2023, drafting Derek Parish from Houston with the 240th pick in Round 7 of the NFL Draft.
Parish is a 6-foot-2, 245 pound defensive lineman who also spent time playing fullback for the Cougars. He recorded 146 career total tackles, 32.5 tackles for a loss, 16 total tackles along with two forced fumbles.

The Jaguars may lean on Parish's versatility and feature him on offense as a fullback. Possibly seeing field time as a lead-blocker for Jackonville's rushing attack.

The Jaguars selected Anton Harrison (Round 1), Brenton Strange (Round 2), Tank Bigsby (Round 3), Ventrell Miller (Round 4), Tyler Lacy (Round 4), Yasir Abdullah (Round 5), Antonio Johnson (Round 5), Parker Washington (Round 6), Christian Braswell (Round 6), Erick Hallett II (Round 6), Cooper Hodges (Round 7) and Raymond Vohasek (Round 7) with previous draft picks.
