2023 LSU Tigers Snapshot Profile: No. 93 Quency Wiggins
Going into the 2023 football season, LSU Wire will be looking at each player listed on the Tigers’ roster.
Over the preseason, each profile will cover where the player is from, how recruiting websites rated them coming out of high school, and what role they will play for Brian Kelly this season.
We’re looking at a high-ceiling player on the defensive line in former top-100 recruit Quency Wiggins. After playing in five games last fall and showing flashes in the Citrus Bowl win over Purdue, Wiggins could be in line to see a bigger role for the Tigers in what is considered his redshirt freshman season.

Depth Chart Overview
Wiggins was the No. 76 player in the nation coming out of high school according to the 247Sports Composite, and he committed to LSU on early signing day in December 2021.
He appeared in five games, but the bulk of his action came against Purdue in the bowl game when he recorded four of his five tackles.
In 2023, he’ll likely compete for a role at defensive end alongside Sai’Vion Jones and Arizona transfer Paris Shand.
