2023 Basketball Prospects: Ron Holland’s Recruiting Profile

Auburn basketball could be getting another high-profile recruit.

Texas native Ron Holland, who is currently ranked No. 2 on On3’s list of 2023 basketball recruits, announced his final eight destinations on Sunday. They included seven collegiate schools, one of which was Auburn, and the NBA G-League, where high school players can go instead of a college to develop themselves for the NBA and receive a professional salary.

At the moment, On3’s RPM (Recruiting Prediction Machine) has the small forward choosing Memphis, but there will still be time to win him over as a 2023 prospect. Bruce Pearl is likely making a good case for him to come with the additions of Yohan Traore and Johni Broome for the 2022 season, and should both of them stay for 2023, the roster would be appealing for any new recruit who wants to win a championship.
