Junior pitcher Mark McLaughlin was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the seventh round (No. 221 overall) Monday.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound McLaughlin (2-1) appeared in 27 games during the 2022 season at Tennessee. He recorded 45 strikeouts and a 2.01 ERA in 2022.
Tennessee won the Southeastern Conference East division for the second consecutive season, the league regular season and tournament championships in 2022.
