1 bold prediction for every Ravens position group in 2023
After a busy and sometimes frustrating offseason, the Ravens have Lamar Jackson at quarterback and a loaded roster that’s getting under the radar, Super Bowl love.
Baltimore added Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers, Nelson Agholor, Jadeveon Clowney, and Ronald Darby while returning a stellar defense that’ll have Roquan Smith for the entire season.
With the season opener against Houston just 48 hours away, we’re looking at one bold prediction for every Ravens position group ahead of Week 1.
QB
Lamar Jacksom is healthy, highly paid and set to debut in a down-field passing attack led by Todd Monken.
His best season came in 2019 when he passed for 3,127 yards, while rushing for over 1,200 yards.
Jackson’s college offense used three or more receivers on the field 65% of the time, and he’ll take advantage in 2023 with a 4,000-yard passing season.
RB
Baltimore will increase their activity in the passing game, and with the franchise looking to keep Lamar Jackson healthy, they’ll rely more on their committee of ball carriers.
No Ravens running back gets 1,000 rushing yards, but three players get at least 600 yards.
WR
Odell Beckham Jr. is back and he’ll be looking to make a statement after going over a year without playing in an NFL game.
Beckham will lead the Ravens in receiving and he’ll log 1,100 yards.

Isaiah Likely will lead the Ravens tight end group in receiving yards with 855, outpacing Mark Andrews, who only logs 55 catches for 700 yards.

Morgan Moses will earn a Pro Bowl berth at right tackle.

Justin Madubuike will log 50 total tackles and 15 tackles for loss in a breakout season.
Edge rusher
Odafe Oweh and Jadeveon Clowney each log 7+ sacks.

Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen each log 120+ tackles and 5 tackles for loss.

Baltimore will eventually need to address the cornerback position through the draft and the combination of Rock Ya-Sin and Ronald Darby won’t be the answer.

Safety
Kyle Hamilton will return to the deep safety look that made him a star at Notre Dame and he’ll reward the Ravens by logging more interceptions than Steelers star Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Hamilton will lead the AFC in nterceptions with 8.
